Happy Easter! Or I think it’d be better to say happy Christ death and resurrection day! As much as I wish that the resurrection of Christ has any connection with easter egg chocolate, it doesn’t.
Thank God that in Jesus’ death we can attain forgiveness, for he who’s blameless took the punishment and became our forgiveness. And we’re not celebrating Jesus’ death only but his resurrection too for:
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
1 Corinthians 15: 17-20 ESV
Because he live indeed, we have a hope :) A hope that’s not dead, a living hope that for sure as God raised Jesus Christ, we’ll be raised up too with him in the end.
