Today’s kanji is Gold, you can read it as kin from the chinese reading or Kane. The kanji is used for the money kanji (okane) as people in ancient time used gold as means of trading. Imagine the kanji as lots of gold bar being stacked inside a house :D
It’s a great day outside, just look at the window if you don’t believe me :D
The sun shining and cloud fluttering around :D
日 – nichi, in the past the sun have the same meaning as day, because when the sun comes out, it’s day time :D
Man, he is carrying a big package :D
In the past the 田 square was meant to represent paddy field.
While the 力 represents power. So literally it means the power to work on the field :D, but I don’t think it’s relevant now.
Next kanji is Woman, holding a baby in her lap.
Next character: Friend, a friend is someone whom you can always rely on, he’s the guy who brought the umbrella for you when it’s raining very heavily!
Dad, Chici, or Otou san, to remember it, just remember the moustache! And the fact that Dad always play it cool by being silent! ;)
Heya, I’m planning to draw some Kanji illustration to help learning Kanji :D
