Today is Indonesia’s Independence day :)
At my office there was nothing special, I jokingly put the song “Indonesia Raya” Indonesia’s national anthem, only to add some festivities into today’s independence day. In Indonesia this day is really special and festive, there would be lots of food and event around the villages, school and even there is the presidential flag ceremony.
It’s strange I used to not really care about this country, but being away and knowing that God loves Indonesia as well, I know that I actually love this country, her people, her culture and everything about her. It’s not the best country, it doesn’t have the most honest government, it’s inconvenient, yet it’s still a place I call home :)
A country I will come home to and will tell about the gospel to. Pray for Indonesia!
